Mr. Malko founded Dante in 1998 and has responsibility for overall strategy of the firm, the architecture direction of the Allegory Platform, and the day-to-day operations of Dante.
Under Mr. Malko’s leadership, Dante has successfully delivered large scale, high impact solutions across multiple industries and has received numerous recognitions including Deloitte North America Technology Fast 500, Virginia Fantastic 50, Deloitte Virginia Technology Fast 50, and was named as one of the “go-to consulting firms” in Gartner's Guide to SOA Consulting. In 2003, Pierre was named Arlington County´s Technology Executive of the Year.
Prior to founding Dante, Pierre held numerous positions including Director of Distributed Systems Technologies at Bell Atlantic Communications, technology and strategy consultant at MCI, and a Senior Software Engineer with Sprint Communications.
Mr. Gilbert is responsible for the technical architecture of the Allegory platform. John has over twenty years of experience in enterprise software platform development.
Before joining Dante, John held numerous architect positions at American Management Systems including Architect of the Momentum ERP suite and Chief Integration Architect for the Public Sector Group.
He is the creator and architect of the Taylor open source software project, which provides a variety of features including model driven architecture and business process management.
Mr. Gilbert is a graduate of George Mason University, where he earned a Masters of Science degree in Software Systems Engineering, and Virginia Tech, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business.
Mr. Seltzer is responsible for U.S. Defense Sector Solutions at Dante. Bob is a highly experienced senior executive who most recently served as the Director of Military Personnel, Office of the Secretary of Defense from 1990 to 2010. Mr. Seltzer has a broad range of knowledge and experience in the areas of logistics, supply chain management, operations management, and organizational management.
He retired as a Colonel from the United States Army in December 1993. While in the military, Mr. Seltzer served in a variety of headquarters and field assignments including: Deputy Director of Management, Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Public Affairs); Chief, Army Officer Evaluation Systems; and Adjutant General, U.S. Central Command. He also served with the Rapid Deployment Joint Task Force and the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).
Colonel Seltzer is a highly decorated veteran having been awarded numerous honors including: the Bronze Star Medal, the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Legion of Merit, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Palm, the Presidential Unit Citation, the Meritorious Unit Award, and the Joint Meritorious Unit Award.
Mr. Seltzer’s community activities have included acting in an advisory role with the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, serving as a member of the Whitetail Management Committee, and serving as Vice President of the Sportsman Reward Fund and a member of the Director’s Advisory Board. Mr. Seltzer has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, and Master of Science degrees in both Public Administration and Military Science.
Mr. Groves is responsible for Mobile Technology Solutions at Dante. Alex has over fifteen years experience in IT development, strategic planning, and project management. He has delivered numerous sophisticated, large-scale solutions for clients including MasterCard, Gannett Digital, Verizon, AOL, Department of Veterans Affairs, and Department of Treasury.
Prior to joining Dante, Mr. Groves held numerous management positions including Director at OST, Inc. where he led the Washington D.C. Office of the Chief Technology Officer in their transformation of twenty-four of the District’s agencies from no web presence to Internet based information and services. Alex also served as Project Leader at Naval Sea Systems Command Program Executive Office for Mine and Undersea Warfare (PEOMUW).
Mr. Groves is a graduate of University of Scranton, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management.
Ms. Steele joined Dante in 2003. She has over 15 years experience in the area of Human Resources and Marketing. Elaine is responsible for all Human Resources functions of the organization, including recruitment, employment, retention, compensation and benefits, training and development, organizational development and employee relations. She has successfully developed and grown Dante’s college recruiting and internship programs.
Prior to joining Dante, Elaine worked in recruiting and marketing in the Garment District in Manhattan to the healthcare industry in Washington, DC. She spent five years as a third party recruiter, specializing in private sector, non-profit, and association recruiting.
Elaine is a Corporate Member on the Employer Advisory Board at the University of Maryland. She has also volunteered her time to support the Parents’ Association on campus and has enlisted the support of Dante in support of their Silent Auction events. Ms. Steele has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Marist College.
